CAPROCK HIGH SCHOOL

As part of a Bond Election passed in 2017, Caprock was one of several schools included for renovations. The project included renovating the high school auditorium, locker rooms, restrooms and plumbing, window replacements, 12 classroom additions, a new choir room, new parking lot, and new auxiliary gymnasium with a dance studio and wrestling room that was constructed to also aid as a tornado safe room. They expressed one of the safety concerns was the existing cross walk. SMA installed a Hawk system to improve safety of the students crossing 34th Street.
